Plagiarism
Authors must not use the words, figures, data, or ideas of others without proper attribution. All sources must be clearly cited at the point of use, and any reuse of wording should be limited, properly quoted, or paraphrased with citation.
N-RELIVE (Journal of Natural Resources, Environment, and Sustainable Livelihood) uses Turnitin to screen all submitted manuscripts for potential plagiarism and similarity with previously published or submitted works. Editors interpret similarity reports carefully and may request clarification or revision from the authors.
To maintain academic integrity, the following similarity limits are applied:
-
Maximum total similarity score: 20%
-
Maximum similarity from a single source: 2%
Manuscripts exceeding these thresholds will be returned to authors for revision or rejected outright, depending on the severity and nature of the overlap.
Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism—whether from published or unpublished works, by other authors or by the submitting authors themselves (self-plagiarism)—will be rejected immediately. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the article may be retracted or corrected, depending on the extent of the violation.
N-RELIVE is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in scholarly publishing and encourages all authors to ensure the originality and authenticity of their submissions.
